Dentacoin is the first Blockchain concept designed for the Global Dental Industry. It aims at improving dental care worldwide and making it affordable through utilizing the Blockchain advantages.
✔ Shifting the Paradigm from Treatment to Prevention. By bringing patients and dentists into a community, numerous win-win effects could be realized. Through a “Hippocratic” dental insurance model patients will no longer pay for treatments, but for prevention. Lifelong, full-covered dental care will be provided to the patient with very low, monthly rates, paid in DCN.
✔ Generating Value through Crowd Power. Through the Blockchain-based tools to be developed (a trusted review platform, an aftercare mobile app, an educational website) patients and dentists will be rewarded with Dentacoin for their willingness to contribute to the Foundation’s mission.
✔ Making Dental Care affordable.
With the collected Dentacoins, patients could:
pay for their treatments;
pay for their dental insurance;
buy oral care products.
As for the dentists, Dentacoin will allow them to:
have a stable basic income;
buy dental materials and equipment;
create a patient community;
reduce marketing costs.
✔ Jumping over the Dentistry Borders. Dentacoin also plans on developing a decentralized, highly secure database of all patient health records. Health Data will be highly protected, updatable and accessible exclusively by patients or by dentists, upon a given permission.
✔ Indirect Profit Sharing. In order to create prerequisites for a long-term increase in value, Dentacoin will implement a unique approach of indirect profit sharing for all Dentacoin holders. Once a year, the Dentacoin Foundation will buy DCN with 50% of all profits gained throughout the last financial year. These include interests from assets, profits of the clinics bought by the Foundation and any other return on investment. Thus, the global DCN supply decreases and in return, the demand and the market price increase. (edited)
